Charter and Program Registration
Northeast College of Health Sciences was granted an Absolute Charter by the New York State Board of Regents on behalf of the New York State Education Department of the University of the State of New York.
Northeast College of Health Sciences' Doctor of Chiropractic degree program, the Master of Science degree program in Diagnostic Imaging, the Master of Science degree program in Applied Clinical Nutrition, the Master of Science degree program in Clinical Anatomy, the Master of Science degree program in Human Anatomy and Physiology Instruction, the Bachelor of Professional Studies degree program, the Bachelor of Science degree program in Health Care Administration, the Associate of Applied Science degree in radiologic technology, the Associate of Applied Science degree in diagnostic medical sonography, and the Massage Therapy certificate program are registered by the New York State Education Department of the University of the State of New York.

Northeast College of Health Sciences (Northeast) is an institutional member of the State Authorization Reciprocity Initiative (SARA).
Initial responsibility for the investigation and resolution of student complaints resides with the institution against which the complaint is made. Northeast's internal complaint process is located in the Student Guide and should be followed to completion.
If a person bringing a complaint is not satisfied with the outcome of the institutional process for handling complaints, the complaint (except for complaints about grades or student conduct violations) may be appealed, within two years of the incident about which the complaint is made, to the SARA portal entity in New York.
Students residing outside New York State who have concerns resulting from distance education courses offered by Northeast, and are unsatisfied with the outcome of the internal institutional complaint process, may contact the appropriate state agency contact listed here.

The 2019 Federal student loan three-year cohort default rate for all borrowers nationwide is 2.3%.
Pursuant to federal regulation 34 CFR 668.43, and the requirements of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC SARA), Northeast College of Health Sciences (Northeast) must provide students with up-to-date information regarding whether or not its program’s meet state and territory standards allowing graduates to qualify for professional licensure. This information is also provided to new students during the admissions process.
Doctor of Chiropractic Degree Program: Seneca Falls, NY
The Doctor of Chiropractic degree program (DCP) at Northeast in Seneca Falls, New York, is awarded accreditation by The Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) and is approved by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and the New York State Education Department (NYSED).

Doctor of Chiropractic Degree Program: Long Island, NY
The Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE), Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), and the New York State Education Department (NYSED) have approved the Long Island campus as:
- an additional educational site (CCE);
- an additional location (MSCHE); or
- a branch campus and registered program (NYSED).
The DC program at this site is virtually identical to the DC Program delivered on the main campus. Northeast has been informed that, as part of the standard accreditation process, it is required to conduct a self-study due to the CCE Administrative Office by April 1, 2026.
After the Council receives the self-study report, plans will be finalized for a fall 2026 site visit. Following the site visit, the Council will meet with Northeast’s DCP representatives at a status review meeting scheduled in January 2027, for review/consideration of initial accreditation status of the additional educational site in Levittown, NY, well before the projected graduation date of the Long Island Campus’s first DC cohort in December 2027.

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Radiologic Technology Program
Northeast College’s AAS in Radiologic Technology Program is approved by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). At the completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam in Radiography. Northeast College’s AAS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Program is approved by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). At the completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the ARRT Sonography exam, and upon successful completion of the exam, are eligible to take the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) examination. Doctor of Chiropractic
