The College has dedicated 45 acres of the NYCC campus grounds -- formerly the area known as the Executive Links Golf Course -- to the creation of a sustainable landscape, allowing native plants to naturally populate the area. This pilot "Grow Zone" program is expected to help the College further its goals of embracing sustainable operations, creating natural green spaces, and practicing conservation whenever possible.
New York Chiropractic College announces that Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (FLSAOM) Dean Garrison has been asked to form an advisory group to explore new and innovative acupuncture program formats for the College.
New York Chiropractic College hosted its Winter 2018 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the NYCC Standard Process Health and Fitness Center.
During the event, 39 graduates took the Chiropractic Oath and received their Doctor of Chiropractic degrees. This degree is earned after 10 trimesters (15 weeks each) of study, including courses in areas like biochemistry, gross anatomy, neuroscience, nutrition, and business management, as well as extensive hands-on clinical experience and research.
New York Chiropractic College has created a Master of Science degree program in Sports Nutrition, a completely online, graduate-level academic program without any residency requirements -- one of only a few fully-online master’s level programs in this discipline.
Colleen Brennan-Barry joined NYCC on February 1 in the new senior-staff position of vice president of Marketing and Communications. Reporting to NYCC’s president, Dr. Michael A. Mestan, she oversees a range of communication initiatives involving the College’s brand, digital presences, and social spaces.
