New York Chiropractic College kicked off its Spring 2020 Trimester this week, welcoming new Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) and Applied Clinical Nutrition students as they began their online studies.
The daily operations of New York Chiropractic College (NYCC), like those of colleges and universities across the country, have been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This past March, in accordance with New York State PAUSE guidelines, all NYCC course instruction moved to online delivery, employees shifted to work through remote means, and College facilities were closed to all but essential functions. Though instruction and operations have shifted, the work of the College continues on in new ways.

NYCC's Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Special Projects Dr. Todd Knudsen has recently been elected president of the Council on Diagnostic Imaging (CDI). As president of the CDI, Knudsen will serve as the chief executive officer of the Council to formulate plans of action and operation while working closely with the vice president, secretary-treasurer, and past-president.
New York Chiropractic College student Ashley Williams (D.C. '20) was selected to attend the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) 17th Annual Student Leadership Forum, Jan. 24-25.
Nearly 50 Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA) members from New York Chiropractic College attended Engage 2020, the American Chiropractic Association (ACA's) annual advocacy event and educational conference this Jan. 29- Feb. 1, 2020 in Washington, D.C.
