To successfully reach this milestone on their path to becoming doctors, Northeast chiropractic students must complete over two years of training in foundational sciences, clinical sciences, integrated chiropractic therapies and principles of chiropractic practice, followed by a clerkship in the campus health center.

Former adjunct faculty member at Northeast Dr. Adam Henby, who currently works at Compass Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo, presented the keynote address. Dr. Henby also participated in a special presentation of the Dr. Lloyd E. Henby Distinguished Service Award, named in honor of his late father, a former Northeast professor.  He was known as a pioneer and legend in the chiropractic profession and at the College. Each trimester during the Transitions Ceremony, the service Award honoring the late Henby is presented to one chiropractic student who advances the principles of the chiropractic profession through strong moral character, education, leadership and service to the community and profession. Awards were also presented to students for achievements in academic and clinical excellence.
