NYCC Honors Employees for Many Contributions, Milestone Years of Service
New York Chiropractic College held its Faculty and Staff Recognition Luncheon in early August, recognizing 35 employees who have reached milestone years of service and five employees for their positive impact on the College.
All NYCC employees were invited to the annual luncheon to celebrate the hard work and dedication of their colleagues.
Milestone Years of Service Recognized
At the luncheon, 35 employees received a recognition folder, including a letter from NYCC President Dr. Mestan and a Certificate of Appreciation, as they celebrated 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years as members of the NYCC community. Those recognized also have the option of receiving a recognition plate or a gift from the College's Recognition Program.
Staff and Faculty Noted for Job Excellence
Award recipients, first nominated by their colleagues as leaders who have created a positive working environment, were selected by senior staff for consistent exemplary performance of their duties.
Staff Recognition Award recipients: Mail Services Manager Dave Azevedo and Enrollment Coordinator Jannette Elster.
Faculty Excellence Award recipients: Assistant Professor Dr. Brett Carnevale, Associate Professor Dr. Ilija Arar and Assistant Professor Dr. Jeana Voorhies. Award recipients receive a recognition plaque and a monetary gift.
