NYCC Announces Commencement and Transitions Ceremonies
First-Ever Online Commencement Event
New York Chiropractic College will host its first-ever online commencement event on Saturday, August 1, to confer degrees and recognize graduates' exceptional accomplishments.
The virtual conferring of degrees will be aired on the College's website at www.nycc.edu/commencement, beginning at 10 a.m. EDT, and will celebrate Winter 2020 and Spring 2020 Doctor of Chiropractic graduates and 2020 master's degree graduates.
The link to the Commencement event will be accessible for two weeks, allowing family and friends to witness this significant milestone and celebrate their graduate's outstanding achievements, together.
NYCC asks family and friends celebrating their grads to tag pictures and messages on social media with #NYCCGrad2020. Congratulations to all 2020 Graduates!
NYCC's Transitions Ceremony
Twenty-eight Doctor of Chiropractic students will participate in the Spring 2020 Transitions Ceremony on July 30 at 11:45 a.m. in the College's Delavan Theater.
Though only the honored students and select faculty will attend the event in-person (while maintaining good physical distance), the ceremony will be live-streamed for families and friends. The link will be available on the home page of www.nycc.edu after 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 30.
The event recognizes the achievements of the 7th trimester students and celebrates their transition into the clinical phase of their education by honoring them with their white coats. Dr. John Hyland, chief technical advisor for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, will be the keynote speaker for the event. He will address the students in a special video message.
