Northeast College Online Alumni Weekend a Success, Provides Glimpse into College Progress
Northeast College of Health Sciences welcomed close to 200 participants as they signed on Sept. 16-18 to participate in the College’s online Alumni Weekend 2022.
The event featured more than 20 online presentations over the course of three days. Among the 22 expert presenters were seven Northeast College alumni. As well, keynote speaker and administrative director of the Mather Hospital/Northwell Health Back and Neck Pain Center Dr. David J. BenEliyahu presented "Enhancing Clinical Outcomes and the Cultural Authority of Chiropractic Through Integration and Population Health Management.”
Northeast College President Dr. Michael Mestan welcomed alumni with an online greeting providing a look at campus developments, including a look at the recently completed Force Assessment Simulated Technology (FAST) Lab, one of the best force plate labs available in chiropractic education. President Mestan also shared about the installation of the College’s new 19-foot post clock and campus plaza and the beginning of a long-term afforestation project on the grounds.
Northeast College Staying Connected
Online attendees from across the United States and Canada were able to take this virtual campus tour with Dr. Mestan, as well hear from the many featured industry experts talking about healthcare news as it pertains to chiropractic, nutrition and business operations. A diverse range of lectures were presented highlighting topics from coding, diversity and patient compliance to cupping, taping and spinal rehabilitation. Continuing education credit was provided in most U.S. states and territories and Canadian provinces.
Next year’s in-person Alumni Weekend is already scheduled to be held on the Seneca Falls campus Oct. 6-8, 2023.
