Northeast and Keuka Colleges Announce New Academic Programs Partnership
A new partnership and articulation agreement between Northeast College of Health Sciences and Keuka College will allow students earning bachelor's degrees in Keuka's Health Sciences program to move seamlessly into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Northeast.
The 3+3 articulation track will enable Keuka College's Health Science majors to enroll at Northeast after their junior year, completing their bachelor's and doctoral degrees in just three additional years.
"We are honored to partner with Keuka College to create academic opportunities for even more students as well as provide programs that will allow them to enter our Doctor of Chiropractic program seamlessly," said Northeast College President Dr. Michel Mestan. "We look forward to welcoming Keuka students who want to become exceptional healthcare professionals.
"We are extremely excited about this agreement between Keuka College and Northeast, because it creates a clear pathway toward a chiropractic degree and Keuka College students can be assured that their transfer credits will be accepted, saving students both time and money," said Dr. Chris Alterio, founding dean of the School of Health and Human Services at Keuka College.
In addition to saving a year of time and tuition, Keuka College students will also be eligible for merit scholarships from Northeast based on their academic standing: $1,500 for a grade-point average between 3.0 and 3.499 and $2,500 for GPAs above 3.5.
