Northeast Program Director Dr. Chad Warshel Presents Lecture at ACCR Symposium
Northeast College of Health Sciences Director of the M.S. in diagnostic imaging residency, Dr. Chad D. Warshel, also a professor at the College, presented the first annual Dr. Terry Yochum Honorary Lecture during the recent American Chiropractic College of Radiology (ACCR) symposium.
The ACCR Annual Workshop and Business Meeting was held Sept. 5-7, 2024, in St. Louis Missouri. Representing Northeast College at the event, Associate Professor Dr. Chris Borgerding and Dr. Daneel Edstrom, the first-year resident in the College’s M.S. in Diagnostic Imaging program, attended the event along with Dr. Warshel.
Chiropractic Industry Leaders Moving Healthcare Forward
The lecture presented by Warshel is named for industry leader Terry Yochum, D.C., DACBR, co-author of the benchmark imaging textbook for the chiropractic profession, “Essentials of Skeletal Radiology.” Yochum earned his post-graduate certification in radiology from the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology, later serving as the board’s vice president and president, and is the director of the Rocky Mountain Chiropractic Radiological Center in Denver, Colorado.
“It was an honor to be able to present the first annual Dr. Terry Yochum lecture,” said Warshel. “I can safely say that the careers of all current chiropractic radiologists, as well as most chiropractors, have been influenced by Dr. Yochum. His passion for teaching chiropractic students and radiology residents is one of the factors that motivated me to become a chiropractic radiologist and educator.”
“Dr. Warshel is a shining example of our expert Northeast faculty, who are thought leaders, always looking for new and innovative ways to educate future generations and move our industries and healthcare forward," said College President Dr. Michael Mestan. “We are fortunate to have him sharing his knowledge and expertise with our College community and beyond.”
