Northeast College’s Anglim Retires; Quest Promoted to Vice President of Finance
Northeast Vice President of Finance Mr. Sean Anglim, CPA, retired from the College effective Dec. 1, 2022. Anglim began his career at the accounting firms Pricewaterhouse and Dermody, Burke & Brown CPAs, LLC, before joining Northeast in 2001. He served 22 years at the College as chief financial officer. Northeast College President Michael Mestan said, “Mr. Anglim has been a key part of this College’s leadership and leaves a legacy as a collaborative partner and champion of the financial wellbeing of our College. As his colleague and friend, I wish Sean a wonderful new chapter in his retirement.”
Longtime Northeast College Controller Ms. Karen Quest, CPA, was promoted to the role of vice president of finance and will oversee the work of the finance division. The division includes human resources, the Office of the Controller, payroll and student accounts.
Quest has been with the College since October 2005 and, as Northeast controller, has assisted with management of the fiscal operations of the College. Quest holds a B.A.Sc. in accounting from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, N.Y., and worked for Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC, immediately prior to joining Northeast College.
“Ms. Quest’s extensive experience and in-depth understanding of our College’s finances make her an outstanding leader to fill this vice-presidential role,” noted President Mestan. “I look forward to continued great work as she becomes a member of the Northeast College senior staff.”
