Northeast College of Health Sciences welcomed nearly 150 visitors to its Seneca Falls Campus for the first-ever Admitted Student Day, dedicated to celebrating students accepted into the College's on-campus health sciences programs.

Admitted Students Walking in the Door

Hosted by the College’s Office of Admissions, the event on June 7, 2024, invited future students admitted to Northeast’s Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.), AAS in Radiologic Technology, AAS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Massage Therapy certificate programs to spend the day learning all about living and studying at Northeast College. All three of the new programs are nearly at maximum enrollment capacity for the Fall 2024 Trimester.

What to Expect as a #NortheastBlue Student

The event provided an opportunity for accepted students and their families to meet faculty and staff, talk with current students, and tour the healthcare-focused campus with the College’s student ambassadors, exploring the state-of-the-art Anatomy Center, technique training rooms and on-campus health center. Guests spent time getting to know one another and the Northeast community and attending breakout sessions specific to their chosen health sciences program.

Attendees were treated to a cookout featuring an ice cream truck and a cake cut by College President Dr. Michael Mestan, who welcomed students and their families to the event. “These are exciting times for Northeast,” said Mestan. “I’m pleased to see so many new faces joining us as we begin to offer new health sciences programs this Fall and look forward to welcoming many of you back as Northeast students soon.”

There was also a breakout question-and-answer session specifically for parents.  “What a fantastic experience,” one parent posted about the event on Northeast’s Facebook page. “Professional, genuine and caring staff. So excited for our son to start in the D.C. program in the fall.”

Northeast College of Health Sciences looks forward to the Fall 2024 Trimester when students in its new associate degree programs in radiologic technology and diagnostic medical sonography and new certificate program in massage therapy will join doctor of chiropractic students on its Seneca Falls campus for the first time.
